Goals

The objective is to create and develop a real interdisciplinary between different disciplines of SHS (law, history, sociology, political science), and disciplines of ICST to address major societal challenges:

Understanding, analysis and modeling

Co-design of new mechanisms

Analysis of objectives, performance and anticipation of impacts

Themes

Territory and environment

Analysis of the metabolic city as superposition of visible and invisible networks, sizing and evolution of public infrastructures (energy, transport, roads) and renaturalization of the city. As well as the territory and environmental inequalities in terms of security.

Mobility

Analysis of mobility and transport, operational safety and appropriation of the vehicles of tomorrow (autonomous, communicating, sustainable), and collaborative engineering. As well as the mobility of urban populations and trace analysis.

Real and virtual society

Research for the legal status of the data, and protection of privacy. As well as the renewal of markets and new technologies. And collective intelligence and social networks, with the analysis of uses, and the impact on identities.

Culture and Heritage

Research and conservation of cultural heritage, with new technologies and appropriation of digital urban cultural heritage for heritage data. As well as the media and the communication, for the valorization of the inheritance.
